Buckshaw Retirement Village
Built in 2008 by the Village sits on the edge of Euxton between the towns of Chorley and Leyland in Lancashire with excellent transport links, shopping and community facilities right on the doorstep. It was the result of a collaboration between The HICA Group and Caddick construction. Today the village is owned by Octopus Healthcare and exclusively managed by The HICA Group by their dedicated Buckshaw Retirement team.
The HICA Group has over 32 years of providing care, support and housing services to older people and people with a learning disability. A not for profit organisation, our head offices are based in Hull with a local Senior Management Team directly employed to run our services in the West.

We have built and managed around 400 individual properties with communal facilities and our Buckshaw Retirement Village development won the 2009 Pinder’s health care design award for best care village. We continue to directly manage many of our properties including The Court at Buckshaw, through our housing management company Kettbest ltd, but we also work in partnership with other housing management companies to ensure we always have the right fit for our services.
