Residents at Buckshaw were delighted to welcome the children from Trinity Church of England/Methodist Primary School for a heartwarming reading session. Each child brought along a book and patiently read to the residents, creating a wonderful atmosphere filled with storytelling and smiles.
The feedback from both residents and children was overwhelmingly positive, with many hoping for another visit soon. Thankfully, there’s good news—they’ll be back again in the near future! The joy and connection shared during the visit were truly special, and we can’t wait to welcome them again.
To top it all off, our special visit even made it into the Lancashire Post! Our residents were thrilled to see their time with the children featured in the paper—what a fantastic way to celebrate such a lovely occasion!
