On Friday 29th March staff of The Hica Group came together to wish Chief Executive Officer of the Hica Group, Penni Brown, a happy retirement.

Penni has been at the helm of the HICA and Buckshaw Retirement Village for over 5 years but been with the company for over 28 years.

Since Penni took over as CEO she has led the organisation to some fabulous successes and through one or two difficult challenges but she has never lost sight of the main objective – to be the best service provider in the region. HICA has always set the benchmark in the area for good quality care and for being a leading player in the specialist area of services for people with a dementia, people with a learning disability and retirement housing.

She passes the baton on to new CEO Terry Peel who said, “Penni has been a great leader with a great vision and she was always great to work for as she is able to get the best out of people, for which I am personally grateful. We would like to say thank you to Penni and wish her a happy, long and active retirement. She leaves a powerful legacy and has empowered us as a team to look at the next generation of services.”

All at Hica would like to wish Terry all the very best and a long and happy tenure in his new position.
